九州、熊本地方の配送について

7月28日におきました熊本県を中心とする九州地方の大地震において九州地方全域の配送に停止または遅れが生じております。
まずは被災された地域のライフラインの復旧作業を最優先し1日にも早く日常の生活を取り戻されることを強く願っております。
当店の配送指定業者であるヤマト運輸様のWEBにも記載がありますが
これからしばらくの期間は九州地方へのお届けには遅れが生じる場合がございます。
（熊本県全域に関しましては荷物の集荷を停止されてますので当店から発送すら出来ません）

Dillmatesをスタートする10年前の2016年にも熊本県を中心とする九州地域に大きな地震がありました。
その年の夏にOldGoodThingsの九州一周ツアーを開催しました。
アーティスト仲間と何度も事前相談しツアー自体の中止も考え現地の各プロモーターの方々にも相談しましたが「こんなタイミングやからこそ絶対に九州に来て見て感じて一緒に盛り上げてほしい」と強いお声を頂きツアーを強行で決行したのを今でもハッキリと覚えています。
特に熊本県に伺った際に宿泊先のホテルから街の誇りでもある熊本城が被災していたのを見た際の気持ちは本当に何も言えませんでしたが「熊本はまた復活するから絶対に見に来てください」と話してくれた言葉は今でも心に残っています。
九州からの帰り道の道中、アーティスト仲間と「元気を与えるつもりが逆に元気を貰ったな～」と話していました。
あれから10年が経過し、
関西に住む自分ですら「おい、またか」と感じてしまうこの地震。
正直言って、熊本県をはじめとする九州地方の皆様になんというお言葉や気持ちを表現してよいのかも今はまだわかりません。
ですが、OldGoodThingsの仲間や現地のプロモーターさんと相談し、OldGoodThingsの九州ツアーの開催なり自分に何か出来ることがあればさせて必ず開催させて頂きます。
今は何よりも1日も早く日常の生活が戻られる事を心より願っております。

Due to the major earthquake that struck the Kyushu region (centered in Kumamoto Prefecture) on July 28th, deliveries throughout the entire Kyushu region are currently suspended or experiencing delays.
Above all, our thoughts are with everyone affected. We sincerely hope that lifeline restoration work progresses smoothly and that everyone can return to their normal daily lives as soon as possible.
As noted on the official website of our shipping provider, Yamato Transport, deliveries bound for the Kyushu region may experience delays for the foreseeable future.
(Please note that package pickup for the entire Kumamoto Prefecture has been temporarily suspended, so we are currently unable to dispatch orders to Kumamoto.)
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly ask for the understanding of our customers living in the Kyushu region.

(Below are a few personal thoughts from our staff)
Ten years ago, back in 2016 when we were starting Dillmates, a major earthquake also hit the Kyushu region, centered in Kumamoto.
That summer, we were scheduled to hold the "OldGoodThings" Kyushu Tour.
We had countless discussions with our fellow artists and considered canceling the tour altogether. But when we consulted local promoters, they strongly urged us: "It’s precisely at a time like this that we want you to come to Kyushu, experience it firsthand, and help us lift everyone's spirits." I still vividly remember making the firm decision to go ahead with the tour.
When we arrived in Kumamoto, I was at a loss for words seeing the iconic Kumamoto Castle—the pride of the city—damaged from our hotel window. Yet, the local people told us with resilience, "Kumamoto will rise again, so please come back and see us." Those words have stayed in my heart ever since.
On our way back from Kyushu, my fellow artists and I talked about how, although we went there hoping to bring them encouragement, it was actually us who received strength from them.
Now, ten years have passed, and even living here in the Kansai region, I caught myself thinking, "Oh no, not again..."
To be completely honest, right now I still don't fully know what words or feelings can truly express what I want to say to everyone in Kumamoto and across the Kyushu region.
However, after speaking with the OldGoodThings crew and local promoters, if there is anything I can do—whether it’s bringing back the OldGoodThings Kyushu Tour or anything else—I promise I will make it happen.
For now, more than anything, I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that daily life returns to normal as quickly as possible.
